RELIANCE LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE SUITE OF VACANT PROPE
Reliance has announced the rollout of its range of vacant property services and electronic security solutions to help secure vacant premises which have soared in number as a result of the economic downturn.
Vacant office space in the City of London alone is up 46% on last year at 7.8 million square feet, a trend likely to be reflected in major cities across the UK.*
There are a number of risks and costs associated with vacant properties that can be mitigated if preventative action is taken. Obvious threats are fire, theft and criminal damage which can be extremely costly. Damaged properties devalue significantly and this in turn can affect their sale or lease value.
Reliance vacant property solutions deliver a cost effective means of securing vacant premises combining electronic security and remote monitoring with key holding and response services. Our mobile fleet of vehicles and licensed security officers provide inspection visits, visitor escorting, and rapid response to an emergency as well as remedial action. Starting with a free risk assessment, Reliance works with customers to identify the most cost effective combination of services and technology to satisfy their needs and ensure legal and insurance requirements are met.
Reliance offers an innovative wireless and battery powered electronic security solution encompassing a range of CCTV and intruder alarm systems. The solution allows for rapid deployment with no need for expensive installation or remedial works, minimising the time property is not protected. The equipment can be installed as a temporary solution and no power or phone lines are required meaning that all utilities can be shut down therefore saving costs. The system is the only wireless electronic security solution that provides video clips allowing instant verification in the event of alarm activation.
By connecting these or existing electronic security systems to our dedicated Monitoring Centre we can provide live monitoring of vacant property. Our monitoring services are accredited to the most
stringent UK regulations including BS5979 Cat II. In the event of an incident, the Reliance team of highly trained operators interpret events, validate every alarm and despatch a local Reliance security vehicle. Reliance are authorised to contact the emergency services if necessary to maintain the security of customers property.
