Samsung Techwin DVRs, NVRs and SVS expansion units now store even more video

The internal recording capacity of Samsung Techwin’s DVRs and NVRs has doubled with the introduction of approved 2TB hard disk drives (HDDs).

“The availability of 2TB HDDs will now offer up to 8TB total internal storage for far greater flexibility either in terms of recording and storing a large quantity of video or to record the same quantity at a higher image quality level,” commented Peter Ainsworth, Samsung Techwin’s European product manager. “What’s more, with our SVS series of external storage devices, a total of 24TB storage can be recorded from our DVRs and up to 40TB from our NVRs, putting us firmly on the map for enterprise level recording solutions.”

2TB HDD upgrade kits are also available to allow easy to implement on-site upgrades of units that form part of existing CCTV projects.
