New Distributor Appointment Drives ACT’s Expansion Strategy 
Access Control Technology (ACT) Ltd., a leading manufacturer of access control equipment, has appointed PovoaSecurity as an official distributor for the Portuguese market.
Serge Tureau, ACT’s Export Sales Manager said “we are delighted to appoint PovoaSecurity as a distributor of ACT’s access control equipment. We have ambitious growth plans for the European market and we consider Portugal to be an important territory in these plans.”
PovoaSecurity has its base in Lisbon. Established by Fernando Povoa, who has over 30 years of experience in the security industry, the company specialises in the distribution of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV and Access Control. PovoaSecurity has chosen ACT as its primary access control supplier and aims to be one of the major players in the Portuguese security market.
