Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, 12 May 2009 – Group 4 Technology are pleased to announce the release of their Symmetry™ range of internal, external and pan / tilt / zoom Network IP cameras.

With compact design and superior image quality, the range provides optimal performance for all required applications while being reliable and easy to use. All Symmetry fixed cameras provide real time full frame rate (25 FPS PAL / 30 FPS NTSC) and D1 resolution, the highest non-megapixel standard available, guaranteeing the best possible performance and image quality within budget. Cost savings are also introduced as multiple or complex sites can be monitored from one central location.

Easy installation and increased reliability is enabled by onboard support for Power over Ethernet, allowing the cameras to be powered over the network, eliminating the need for any additional power supply.

Included in the Symmetry camera range are internal, external and pan / tilt / zoom cameras. The external models are manufactured from polycarbonate, creating a vandal proof exterior ideal for outdoor security requirements.
