Cooper Security Launches the New i-on160EX Panel
The i-on range increases to offer grade 2 or 3 expandable systems. Cooper Security is pleased to introduce the latest addition to its highly popular and successful range of intruder alarms with the new i-on160EX from Scantronic, which takes the ease of use, speed of installation and great design of the i-on16 and i -on40 and introduces them into an expandable product platform.
The i-on160EX can be installed to either EN50131-1 grade 2 or grade 3 up to 160 zones over 20 partitions and can accommodate 500 users each of which can use a PIN, prox, remote control and PA button to operate the system making it one of the most versatile systems available on the market.
The panel offers a host of innovative features which offer real benefits to installers and end users alike including:
The unique Performance Bus system offering unrivalled flexibility by enabling up to 45 unique devices such as expanders and keypads to be added to the panel.
Smart semi automatic addressing removes the use of links when addressing bus devices and ensures the installer will never give the same address to two devices, saving hours of installation diagnostic time.
Decimal expansion system means that each of the new expanders offers 10 zones, or 30 zones in the case of the EXP-R30 radio expander, in addition to the 10 zones on the end station. Identifying which expander a zone is attributed to is considerably easier for installers and also provides 25% more zones on each expander offering even greater value for installers.
The bus device location system allows for simple unit location, saving hours of time onsite locating concealed bus mounted devices for installers servicing a system or adding additional detection devices to an existing expander.
