Bosch Security Systems releases updated storage and selection tool for its CCTV recorder range

Calculate storage with a touch of a button

Calculating storage for a CCTV application is always a challenging job. To make this challenge more appealing, Bosch Security Systems has set up an easy-to-use tool to calculate the storage needed to record video via its range of CCTV recorders.

The storage calculator offers easy storage calculation for the Divar MR CCTV Recorder, DiBos Hybrid/Network Recorder and the latest addition to the range of Bosch recorders, the Divar XF H.264 Hybrid Recorder.

The storage calculator offers the possibility to calculate storage based on a number of advanced or basic settings such as number of cameras, image resolution, images per second, audio recording, number of hours for recording, and retention time for IP and analog cameras.

“This standalone storage calculation tool gives a quick and straightforward answer to your possible storage requirements but also shows the power of the Bosch recorder range at a glance,” says Raymond Weijts, Product Marketing Manager EMEA. “For example, you can see that for just below 4 TB of storage the new Divar XF H.264 Hybrid Recorder can have an estimated 45 days of continuous recording at the highest possible resolution (4CIF/D1) for a total of 16 cameras."

In addition to storage calculation you can also do a quick product selection based on the main product features supported by the Bosch recorder range. The updated Bosch storage calculation and selection tool can be downloaded free of charge from the local Bosch Security Systems online product catalog.
