Kitchen brassware gets
in the mix with Damixa

With the brassware chosen for the kitchen having a huge effect on the look and feel of the space, Danish brassware manufacturer Damixa is showing its complete kitchen tap s collection, offering a fusion of form and function with each one.

Reflecting the trend for minimal design in the kitchen, the new recently launched Slate kitchen tap is far from minimal in terms of features and function. Available in several versions including a High J Spout Mixer, High L Spout Mixer and High C Spout Mixer each Slate tap sports a slate grey lever handle to make a subtle style statement.

Also featured is Osier, again offering great design and a wide choice of spouts, including an L-shaped high spout with an outlet that swivels 360° enabling the spray to reach even those hard to reach places.

Another new addition to highlight in Damixa’s kitchen tap collection is Eris, which again combines contemporary elegance with excellent practical benefits.

Spray away

Danny Lay, Sales Director at Caple, discusses how pull-out spray taps have taken the market by storm

Pull-out spray taps are the ultimate asset for every kitchen as they are not only stylish but incredibly practical, too. These pull-out sprays give plenty of room for manoeuvre so will not only keep the kitchen sink area spotlessly clean but are the perfect solution for food prep in the wet zone or for rinsing out crockery before placing it in the dishwasher. With a professional look, these taps are ideal for an open-plan kitchen scheme, where the homeowner enjoys spending time in this space, preparing food, cooking and entertaining.

Caple has a superb collection in our portfolio with a variety of innovative designs, which cater for every need, from compact designs with discreet spouts where the consumer can pull the hose out from the actual tap, to the striking coil spout design, which tends to be the one favoured by professional chefs. In fact, these taps, which are a staple in the restaurant kitchen, partly owe their new-found success to all the TV chefs whose cookery programmes continue to feature them.

Abode design-led kitchen taps have been highly regarded since the Company’s inception 10 years ago and are widely distributed through a network of reputable partners, across the UK.

Abode kitchen taps are available in a wide range of classic and contemporary styles and designs forming a perfect partnership with our sink portfolio. At Abode we constantly track design themes that we believe will become relevant in the future.

The new ranges of kitchen taps we launched at KBB earlier this year certainly won universal applause from a great number of people, especially for Triana, the patented single lever Aquifier tap where filtered water runs through a separate dispenser within the spout by twisting the hidden ring on the centre of the tap body. Triana has been developed exclusively for the UK and European markets where no other manufacturer has yet designed an attractive single lever filter tap that is so simple to use.
