The introduction of the never-before-seen AQUA 8 collection from Aqualux, together with the AQUA 6 series, marks the final phase in the launch of the innovative AQUA range.
These two new collections join AQUA 30 and AQUA 4, launched earlier this year. The AQUA range in its entirety offers a wide variety of exceptionally high quality shower enclosures, trays and bath screens to suit nearly any budget, bathroom design or consumer preference. In addition to sophisticated design elements, installers will welcome the fitting innovations that have been specially developed across each of the four collections in the range, which will make a high quality result so much easier to achieve.
The brand new AQUA 8 collection, excitingly, marks a repositioning for the Aqualux brand, these opulent enclosures placing them firmly in the high end sector of the market. Reaching new heights of luxury, AQUA 8 provides the user with an optimum showering experience. The main additional feature that will delight the installer is the groundbreaking AXIS Dynamic Adjustment system (patent applied for) which is fitted to the ‘Hinge’ range for accurate door alignment and fitting. This includes a specially designed Aqualux branded key to aid quick fitting.
For the consumer, Aqualux has ensured that every inch of these stunning shower surrounds has been meticulously crafted to convey effortless sophistication. Modern geometric styling has been applied to high lustre polished fittings - the exquisite metal handles with soft grip inserts reveal a beautiful ‘water droplet’ shape when viewed from the side. The square brace bar design strengthens the structure of the surround whilst embracing its contemporary styling. The pristine 8mm thick, 2000mm high glass panels, a quality benchmark for this aspirational sector, bring timeless style to any bathroom space.
There are three different ‘families’ within the AQUA 8 collection, all uniquely individual yet with distinguishing features that clearly show each is a part of the same elegant series.
AQUA 8 Hinge is a sleek, frameless option with chrome plated zinc alloy fittings and hinges for strength and durability. Fixings are all artfully hidden in the wall channel rather than being situated externally, creating a pristine minimalist appearance. These enclosures are available as Pivot doors that can be fitted either singly in a recess or with a side panel. They are also available as Bifold, Quadrant or Offset Quadrant styles and, where necessary are reversible for right or left hand fitting. The Quadrant and Offset Quadrant models also offer double doors for ease of access. Another practical and stylish feature of these surrounds is a stylised towel rail that mirrors the design of the beautiful AQUA 8 handle.
AQUA 8 Roller is the second frameless option in the collection and, whilst still giving the appearance of a streamlined, minimalist shower surround, the rollers on the top rail are clearly visible as a distinctive design feature. Sprung glass guides along the bottom of the door ensure long-lasting smooth operation. This eye-catching model has a stainless steel high quality finish and is available in Modular door, Quadrant or Offset Quadrant styles.
AQUA 8 Glide is the third and final model in the collection, providing a semi-frameless alternative to the previous two families. As with the Hinge and the Roller, the majority of panels for the Glide are reversible since the wall fittings and door mechanisms are all skilfully concealed - making these enclosures as attractive from the inside as they are from the outside. This ensures the consumer’s experience of the shower is one of pure luxury from the moment they walk into the bathroom. Double wheel bearings on both the top and bottom deliver a satisfyingly smooth movement as the door eases back and forth along runners. Bifold, Pivot, Quadrant and Offset Quadrant are the style choices offered by the Glide model.
