Kitchen Designer award for Robert Burnett

Holloways of Ludlow are delighted to announce that Robert Burnett, Head of Design, was the winner of the ‘Kitchen Designer’ category at this year’s Homes & Gardens Designer Awards.

Celebrating Britain’s hottest design talent, the Homes & Gardens Designer Awards recognise designers that have made a significant contribution to their industry. Robert Burnett’s portfolio of bespoke, British-made designs, impressed the judging panel that includes some of the biggest names in British design to win the 2012 ‘Kitchen Designer’ Award.

Robert’s success lies in his ability to understand the needs of his clients, and to make their dream kitchen a reality through innovative use of materials and manufacturing techniques. The judges said “Robert really understands how modern kitchens work. We love the way that the materials bind together the spaces for cooking, living, and entertaining”. Every Holloways of Ludlow bespoke kitchen is manufactured in-house at their West London workshop. This enables them to fulfill ambitious kitchen projects without compromise, often using a wide range of materials such as Corian, wood, stone, steel and glass to realise some of the more challenging ideas envisioned by Robert and his talented and creative design team.

Robert Burnett said, “I am thrilled to have won the Kitchen Designer category at this year’s Homes & Gardens Designer Awards. This award also recognises the highly skilled craftsmen at our workshop who turn my kitchen drawings and creative vision into a reality. Our ethos at Holloways of Ludlow is to create designs that result in beautifully made, functional, hard-wearing kitchens, which quite simply look superb.”

The Award was presented to Robert Burnett at a stylish champagne reception hosted at London's British Museum on the 7th March 2012.
