Shock opening for Bathroom Business Conference
When you have successfully built one of the most successful companies through careful nurturing of customers the last thing you want to do is seriously upset them with a shocking off-the-wall remark.
Gerald Ratner was the businessman who did just that. He fell from grace after an unfortunate gaffe. He has since struggled to climb back to the top and now knows a lot more about customers from the valuable lessons he learnt on the day he described one of the products he sold as ‘total crap’.
Gerald Ratner will open the Bathroom Business Conference 2013. He will share the story of his mistakes and what can be learnt from them.
