BRISTAN LAUNCHES ECOSMART RANGE

‘Get smart, get ecosmart’ is the proposition from Bristan as it launches a comprehensive range of products designed to save water in the bathroom.

The ecosmart collection features a choice of showers, taps, sanitaryware and flow limiters, providing a complete bathroom solution for those looking to achieve significant water savings without compromising on style.

Leading the collection are 35 products that have been endorsed by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) under its Water Efficient Labelling Scheme. These include Java and Prism basin mixers featuring Bristan’s eco-click technology which automatically uses 32% less water than a standard tap and 72% less when the lever is positioned in the eco-click mode.

The range also features Bristan’s Dune suite, which includes a 2.6 litre dual flush WC and a full length bath with a capacity of just 140 litres, offering huge water savings when compared to the standard 195 litre models.

Judith Gibbons at Bristan said: “The environmental benefits of saving water are obvious. Combine this with the fact that heating water accounts for around 25% of the average energy bill, and you have a hugely compelling argument for people to make a switch to water efficient products.

“Our ecosmart range has been developed to help people save water without sacrificing style or performance.”

Bristan will be promoting its water efficient range with a targeted consumer PR and marketing campaign throughout 2009 including the launch of new POS and a dedicated microsite.
