ATAG scoops Red Dot design award

ATAG, the leading Dutch brand for innovative, stylish and technologically advanced built-in kitchen appliances, has scooped three major international Red Dot design awards.

The Red Dot award is recognised worldwide as a mark of quality for outstanding design. Companies which achieve one of these coveted awards become members of the international design elite, recognised as being committed to constant investment in design and innovation. The winners also receive worldwide media coverage making their products a must-have for retailers and sought-after by consumers.

This year more than 1,600 companies from 57 countries took part with over 4,000 products entered for judging. Products were judged by an independent panel of 30 international experts and the criteria included innovation, durability, functionality, quality, ergonomics and aesthetics. Against strong competition, ATAG scooped the Red Dot Award in Product Design for its HG9711MBB Magna stainless steel gas hob and received an honourable mention for the HI7271S Iris Slide Control® induction hob and the HG9711CB Matrix gas hob with Easy Flame Control.

The Red Dot award winning HG9711MBB Magna design gas hob is crafted from top quality brushed stainless steel and is the ultimate in style and substance. It has a spacious layout with four fast A+ burners and a powerful wok burner. The Magna design line fuses timeless and distinctive designs with high quality and performance.

The HI7271S induction hob makes cooking quick, efficient and economical while the touch technology and beautiful looks appeal to the most discerning consumer. ATAG’s new, unique Iris Slide Control® offers consumers state-of-the-art electronic control and supreme functionality.

Last but not least in the roll of honour is the HG9711CB Matrix gas hob with Easy Flame Control, part of the Matrix Line which strengthens ATAG’s position as the market leading gas hob specialist. It has lots of thoughtful touches including a tilted control panel for added ergonomic comfort, strategically placed burners and the electronic Easy Flame Control device.
