Learn all about lightweight board

REHAU, Hettich and Egger are inviting designers and manufacturers interested in working with lightweight boards to attend a seminar with the Lightweight Network to be held at REHAU’s Ross on Wye HQ on 23 June.

At the event, representatives from the three companies will set out what can be achieved in both design and production terms using the environmentally friendly and cost effective board and will be aiming to provide both inspirational and practical advice.

Inspiration will come first in the form of presentations showing how thicker yet lighter panels can transform the look of contemporary kitchen, bathroom office and shopfitting design schemes.

Then, there will be practical demonstrations in REHAU’s fully equipped training workshop showing how the boards can be fixed and edging applied, and finally visitors will be invited to ask questions about the technical and commercial aspects of manufacturing and promoting lightweight board solutions.

Allison Tucker, Business Team Manager for REHAU’s Furniture Products, is expecting an excellent response. She says: “This will be the fourth event staged by the network and at each one the number of delegates attending has increased. Our last seminar was fully booked and the momentum behind lightweight boards is growing all the time.”
