New appointment at PJH New Build

National kitchen, appliance and bathroom distributor, the PJH Group has appointed George Keegan as Business Development Manager of its New Build division for the Public Sector. This follows recent expansion and investment into the new build business that the PJH Group has built up and serviced for over twenty years.

Previously with Arrow Distributors and before that, the Bernstein Group, George has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, so is a welcome addition to the growing team of experts within the PJH New Build Division – which offers both a supply and installation service to the public and private sectors.

Challenged with expanding the public sector side of the PJH New Build division via framework suppliers, contractors and local authorities, George is fully confident in achieving his goals: “With a very wide portfolio of products available, meeting both the pricing and specification needs of the public sector, allied with a national capability for on-site installation, I can see PJH becoming a major player in this sector.”

The PJH Group is uniquely placed to meet the needs of the public sector, as being the UK’s largest distributor, supplying all the latest leading brands – such as Indesit, Whirlpool and Electrolux – combined with a highly efficient installation service, it truly is a one-stop shop. With nationwide coverage and a team of sales, installation and project management staff, PJH can effectively manage site activity, offering many cost-saving benefits and peace of mind to the customer.

Mike Barnes, Managing Director of the PJH New Build division, commented: “With ambitious growth plans to take this service to new levels over the next five years, we are extremely positive about the future prospects of the new build market. Despite the economic climate, this sector will recover and we are now in a strong position to service and meet the needs of our trading partners as the industry improves.”
