Suite of New Websites for Glen Dimplex Home Appliances
Leading kitchen appliance manufacturer, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA), has launched a suite of new websites and social media channels as it seeks to underline the personality of each of its brands.
New sites for Stoves, Belling, Lec and New World have been designed to provide in-depth product information, news, customer care and a ‘find a retailer’ facility that allows you to search by postcode. Each site also offers recipes tailored to the customers of each brand and the most up-to-date product brochures can also be viewed online using page turning technology.
All of the brands are also now engaging with consumers and the trade via a number of social media channels including Twitter, Facebook and You Tube.
In addition to the new brand sites, GDHA’s recently launched Range Centre initiative is complimented by a new platform - www.rangecentre.co.uk - that allows customers to find their nearest Range Centre, promoting the independent retailers that display range cookers as part of the scheme.
Steve Dickson, commercial manger for Stoves and Belling, said: “Each of our brands has its own unique personality – Belling is very much our family brand, while Stoves is about making a style statement - and it is increasingly important that the websites and all of our communications reflect that.
“The new websites each have a very distinct look and allow consumers and retailers to really engage with each brand. By introducing the social media channels this drills down even further, allowing very personal interaction and really bringing the products to life.”
In addition to the consumer sites GDHA has also created an online image library to make a massive range of product and room set photography, logos, brand guidelines, POS and corporate advertising materials more easily accessible to retailers, media and partner organisations.
