New freestanding dishwashers from Amica

Leading Polish appliances brand, Amica, is delighted to introduce two new freestanding dishwashers to its product portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

Amica’s brand new freestanding 60cm ZWM626W dishwasher and its smaller brother, the slimline 45cm ZWM426W model will look great in any kitchen in pure white with a discreet panel containing six control buttons and electronic LED salt and rinse aid indicators.

Each of the dishwashers provides five programmes - from a Rapid 25 minute cycle, which uses only eight litres of water and 0.4Kwh of electricity, to an Intensive cycle for the heaviest soiled loads - with Rinse, Eco and Normal programmes in between.

AAA rated for energy, cleaning and drying performance, the ZWM626W is great for dinner parties as well as family meals with a capacity of 12 place settings on two spray levels. Ideal for smaller households and family kitchens with less space, the slimline ZWM426W takes up to eight place settings, also arranged on two spray levels. On the lower rack of each model are folding tines and a cutlery basket with separator, and for added flexibility the upper rack is adjustable in height with four shelves.

A mechanical water softener helps to ensure continued efficient use, particularly in hard water areas.

Operating at a quiet noise level of just 49dB, the ZWM626W uses 15 litres of water and 1.05kWh of energy per Normal wash load while the slimline ZWM426W uses 13 litres of water and 0.74kWh of electricity.

Simon Freear, country manager for Amica in the UK, said: “More consumers in the UK and Ireland are being persuaded by the benefits of owning a dishwasher and we’re pleased to introduce these new freestanding models to our product portfolio alongside a choice of semi and fully integrated models as well as those in our Platinum collection. The new dishwashers are extremely easy to use with the capacity and a range of programmes to suit everyone and will further strengthen our position in this marketplace.”

All Amica products come with a quality after-sales care service and a full two year guarantee for parts and labour as standard – an important consideration in today’s economic climate.
