| Amica sponsors youth football

Amica, one of Europe’s leading kitchen appliance manufacturers, has recently become involved with Youth Sport in Dorset. The newly formed Bournemouth Sports Youth Football Team have agreed a kit sponsorship deal with Amica, to supply the Under 9’s team who compete in the Bournemouth Youth Football league.
Amica entered the UK market four years ago with an innovative range of competitively priced cooking, cooling and washing appliances. This is the second time the Polish manufacturer has become involved with local youth sport in 2008 Amica sponsored a trip to Wronki for the Swindon Old Town under 16s.
Amica has decided to back the Bournemouth Sports Youth Football Team partly due to its coveted FA Development Charter Standard status which ensures a commitment to modern training methods and ideals of fair play ahead of the 2012 European championships.
Moreover the aim of the club is to provide varied sporting activities “from the cradle to the grave” and since its original formation as a rugby club it has developed and expanded over the years to most popular sports including, Hockey, Squash, Table Tennis, Cricket, Archery and in 2010 a Youth Football sector to complement the adult and veteran teams already at the club.
Simon Freear, country manager for Amica in the UK explains “Amica is closely linked to football in Poland, where the national team regularly trains at the state-of-the-art Amica Wronki stadium, close to our head office in Wronki. We are delighted to support this young team and youth sport by providing this sponsorship. It will be interesting to follow the team’s progress via the FA at. www.full-time.thefa.com .
Coach Michael Bratchford said “It’s a terrific boost for our young squad to secure a kit deal from a huge company like Amica.”
