Gorenje Introduce the Next Generation of Cooking Appliance

As an industry-leading innovator, Gorenje is proud to unveil its next generation of built-in cooking appliances. Alive with inventive functionality and dynamic style, they are effortlessly intuitive and designed to perform to the very highest standards with numerous user-friendly advances. The new ‘Pure’ collection is striking both in appearance and what lies beneath; fusing form and function for the homes of tomorrow.

‘Pure’ disarms with its clear surfaces emphasised by minimalistic metal accents. The colour scheme and sleek lines provide a harmonious link across the collection. The ergonomically designed handles and switches ensure comfortable use, as well as clear and simple control.

Within this lustrous exterior, innovation awaits in the form of the patented HomeMade oven. Inspired by the traditional wood burning stove, the oven’s arched ceiling and curved walls ensure that hot air is efficiently dispersed throughout the oven cavity and foods are cooked uniformly.

DirecTouch is another notable technological innovation from Gorenje. The touch screen control enables simple operation in only 3 steps, as numerous preset programs can automatically select the correct combination of heater, temperature and cooking time. After turning the oven on, simply touch the corresponding dish selection symbol and confirm the setting by touching the Start symbol – it really is as simple as 1,2,3!

Large, clear symbols ensure clarity, convenience and simplicity of use. DirecTouch also allows for full manual operation of all cooking parameters according to the user’s preference. Personal settings can also be saved and easily retrieved from the appliance memory. For extra piece of mind there is an important child safety lock too.

With the BigSpace innovation, Gorenje’s ovens are among the largest in the market, but doesn’t take up any additional space in the kitchen. With 65 litres of oven capacity and a 46 centimetre wide oven opening, they offer a 15 percent larger cooking area and yet will fit into a standard oven recess. This increase in oven space guarantees improved usage, and the cooking of more food at once whilst ensuring that it is still cooked evenly. Despite the ovens impressive size, its construction provides such efficient heat circulation to be classified as A for energy usage and is one of the most energy-efficient on the market.

And the oven innovations don’t stop there – for improved safety DynamicCooling considerably decreases the temperature of the oven’s outer walls, while CoolDoor makes the appliance even safer by further reducing the temperature on the outer side of the oven door. CoolDoor technology also enhances the performance of the oven and significantly reduces energy consumption, by combining excellent door insulation and layers of reflective material.

Other developments of note include the WarmPlate function which enables the heating of the oven to between 30 and 65˚C to ensure that dishes and tableware are kept warm and meals are served at the ideal temperature. And for those times when dinner is delayed, the StayWarm setting will keep food warm for up to 2½ hours.
