Colour changing back-lit splashback

The new colour changing back-lit splash back from iglass is an exceptionally clever and innovative design which can create ambient, calm or vibrant lighting, depending upon which setting the customer chooses.

The unique design of the back-lit splashback encases colour changing LED lighting strips in a channel which frames the splashback. The revolutionary material which is used enables the light to show evenly across the whole panel, even when there are cut outs for plug sockets and other kitchen appliances.

Frosted glass is bonded onto the outside of the frame with a coloured border of the customers’ choice and then the customer is able to change the lighting as and when they please via remote control.

Any colours can be chosen to make up the array of colours that can be alternated between. Customers can change the colour to suit their mood or to accommodate changes in their decor.

Gregg Botterman, MD at iglass loves the new design and commented “The back-lit splashbacks definitely have the wow-factor! We launched the product at KBB and displayed the design at Grand Designs and the feed back was phenomenal – it caught everyone’s eye. It is a unique design, but it follows the same basic advantages that a standard glass splashback does – perfect cut outs, clean smooth finish, easy to clean and intrinsically hygienic. The colour-changing back-lit splashback just has that extra something and we have found that people love the fact they can change the entire look of their kitchen by one press of a remote control!”
