| KBSA Success at Grand Designs Live

The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) has enjoyed a successful attendance at the Grand Designs Live Exhibition in Birmingham.
The KBSA was situated in the Expert Advice Centre and had an expert on hand to answer any visitors’ questions on buying a new kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or home office.
Ruth Ward, KBSA sales and marketing director comments: “Our expert Alan Stanford was busier than ever this year, answering questions from people who are about to embark on a home makeover .
“ The enquiries this year included more on bathrooms, and lots of people were either involved in a new build project or a major extension and therefore interested in advice about kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to promote the KBSA message to homeowners and as previous years, the most important question from them was how to ensure that their chosen retailer is reputable and reliable.
“We were able to re-assure visitors that KBSA members have to abide by strict criteria in order to be accepted and don’t just get given a badge when they pay their money. KBSA retailers also offer full deposit protection, work in progress cover and a 6-year workmanship warranty.
“Meeting homeowners who we know are seriously considering investing in their home at exhibitions like this is an important part of our consumer communications plan.”
The KBSA has invested in a new consumer campaign that includes two new events for 2010, which included the Kitchen and Bathroom Show in June at Sandown Park, Surrey and will also be represented at the same show in Harrogate from 5 th to 7th November.
Grand Designs Live is one of the most popular consumer exhibitions and visitor numbers are estimated to be up by over 5,000 on last year, with over 46,000 visitors.
