Online competition to select customers’ recipes

In a first for the company, built in appliance brand leader Neff has launched an online competition to give two end-customers the chance to have a favourite recipe published in the new Neff cookbook 2011.

To celebrate the launch of the 2nd edition of “The Neff Recipe Collection” due out this autumn, all Neff oven owners are invited to submit one of their own favourite recipes to Neff online via the website at www.neff.co.uk by 15th May to be considered for the competition.

The recipes submitted have to be cooked using the Neff CircoTherm ® system of forced air cooking to be eligible for the competition. Any recipe can be used for any type of food or meal, from a starter or main course to a dessert, cake or biscuits.

The Neff Team will be looking for two customers’ recipes to feature in the 2011 edition of “The Recipe Collection”. As well as being ideal for use in CircoTherm ® cooking, the team will be on the lookout for original recipes that boast a good combination of flavours, textures and ingredients.

All the shortlisted recipes will be tested by Neff experts at the company’s head office in Milton Keynes before selecting the winners. After the competition closes on 15th May, the two lucky winners will be notified and invited to Neff to see their recipes being created by the in-house team. Both consumers will both be hosted overnight in a luxury hotel during this process.

Not only will both winning recipes be photographed professionally for the CircoTherm ® chapter of “The Recipe

Collection” 2011 but a photograph and explanation of the winners and their recipes will also appear in the book.

Comments Neff Brand Manager Hannah Groves: “As the UK’s favourite cooking appliance brand, we wanted to find a way to involve our end-customers in the 2011 edition of the popular Neff cookbook. By inviting entries in a competition format, we are hoping to find some superb new recipe ideas to add to our collection and achieve our aim along the way!”

The 2nd edition of “The Recipe Collection” by Neff will be published in Autumn 2011 and will be available for sale via the Neff website and selected dealers.
