A new angle for Siemens

With the arrival of the LC966KA40B, leading kitchen appliance manufacturer Siemens is introducing a totally new angle in hood design.

Model LC966KA40B is striking in appearance: instead of a traditional horizontal canopy, this chimney hood boasts a trend-setting new angled design to create a focal point in any new kitchen installation.

What’s more, the glass canopy section comes in a stunning black glass finish to create an even bigger visual impact.

The benefits of the design are twofold: firstly it means no more inadvertent bumping of heads, which can be a problem for tall cooks; it also allows you to cook on the hob below at much closer quarters.

Although this hood is particularly powerful in performance (max. extraction rate of 380 m3/h), it manages to operate at an extremely low noise level of just 54 decibels, making it the ideal choice for large open plan kitchens where conversation is constantly flowing!

Push button operation is within easy reach both for the lights (3 x low energy halogen bulbs plus softLight dimmer function) and for the power settings (3 power levels plus intensive setting) on this appealing new extractor hood.

An automatic run on facility is featured on the LC966KA40B to ensure that all lingering odours are removed even after cooking has ended and an integral revert option allows the hood to automatically return to a normal setting, from the intensive setting, after a specific period of time has elapsed.

Designed for wall-mounted installation, this extra wide 90cm black glass and stainless steel chimney hood can be ducted or recirculated. Furthermore, the chimney section is height adjustable, according to individual requirements.

Available to order via Siemens stockists nationwide, this sophisticated new black angled extractor hood model LC966KA40B retails at around £850.
