The focus is on Laser Edge

REHAU’s 60m 2 stand at W10 will comprise four distinct zones, setting out the company’s newest solutions and innovations for the furniture industry.

Separate office, kitchen, trade and processing zones will feature new designs for kitchens and offices, as well as the opportunity to see REHAU’s One Stop Shop Express edgeband solution and demonstrations of its new Laser Edge technology.

REHAU will be hosting a major presentation at the show on its Laser Edge materials, which deliver a flawless moulded look when applied to narrow board surfaces and offer a genuine alternative to traditional edgebanding.

Developed in conjunction with leading machinery specialists Homag and IMA, the laser welding process allows the edgeband to be applied with no requirement for adhesive and the guarantee of no visible glue line.

Elsewhere on the stand, the office zone will feature REHAU’s specialist Acoustic-Line and Metallic-Line RAUVOLET tambour doors. Acoustic Line is designed to reduce sound levels in the workplace by absorbing seven times the amount of sound as conventional office cabinets.

Metallic-Line is a cost effective alternative to solid aluminium tambour doors and combines the high quality look and feel of a metallic finish with the quiet running properties, low maintenance and durability of polymer shutters.

In the kitchen zone, REHAU will be displaying its RAUVOLET Vetro-Line glass tambour doors in both real translucent and high gloss black glass. Developed by REHAU to offer an original and distinctive combination of design and practicality, they add an interesting new dimension to contemporary kitchen schemes.

Alongside this will be a stunning 3D kitchen display highlighting REHAU’s edgeband, plinth covers and wall seal profiles.

For REHAU’s trade customers, there will be a dedicated zone where they can talk to REHAU’s sales and product development teams about new product and service innovations, and see demonstrations of both REHAU’s new online database for its Express collection of edgebands and its tambour configuration software.

As well as Laser Edge, the key focus in the processing zone will be on REHAU’s range of innovative edgebanding tools which allow small to medium sized furniture manufacturers to match the quality of volume manufacturers without needing to invest in expensive equipment.
