Brabantia's new knife block

In an extension to its product collection, Brabantia has introduced an all-new Knife block to complement its line-up of kitchen knives.

The Knife block has been specially designed to store Brabantia’s five-piece knife set including the sharpening steel, in a compact and secure way, and to suit either a classic or modern-look kitchen.

Whereas most traditional knife blocks are static and follow the same basic design, this new product is made from sustainably sourced Ash, and boasts a more contemporary design with beautifully engineered vertical side slots, each dedicated to a specific item. The space efficient shape is made even more useful by being mounted on a smart, stainless steel base, so the block rotates smoothly to ensure the right knife falls readily to hand, and is easy to remove.

For added safety in the kitchen, a rim around the edge prevents knives from sliding out accidentally, and the 18/8 stainless steel base sits on non-slip silicon feet for stability, while also preventing damage to the work top. Hygienic and with easy to clean slots, the stainless steel foot is also extendable for thorough cleaning.

Professional in quality and timeless in design, the Brabantia knife set complements the brand’s comprehensive collection of food preparation utensils.

The new Brabantia knives are specially designed for use both by professional chefs and enthusiastic home cooks, and combine great craftsmanship and leading edge, high-grade materials.
