16 MILLION US DOLLAR INVESTMENT IN COSENTINO’S FACTORY

With a recent 16 million US dollar investment to triple granite production to keep up with customer demand, Cosentino’s Latina granite factory now produces b etween 160 and 220 slabs a day and polishes up to 300 slabs a day. The factory also holds an impressive stock of more than 80,000 metres squared of granite, marble and Silestone.

Located in the Espírito Santo state in Brazil, which was chosen due to the high quality of stone and granite in the region, the factory covers over 48,000 metres squared and employs 80 staff.

Cosentino Latina received the 2008 Award of IMEC (Mining Institute of Civil Engineering) and the factory was ranked 70 on the 200 biggest companies in the state of Espirito Santo in 2008. Espírito Santo is also well known worldwide for its Granite production.

COSENTINO’S GRANITE

Over 40 types of granite in various colours and different finishes are produced in Cosentino’s Latina granite factory. Among these, Yellow Santa Cecilia, Green Ubatuba and Abslut Black are remarkable examples of the wide variety of granites available.
