Additions to the Sylmar range

Sylmar Technology is a solid surface worktop manufacturer and distributor, well known for its Avonite and maia brands. Recent product innovations within the maia collection include the addition of four new decors, curved worktop and breakfast bar ends plus new sink modules that Sylmar believes combined together with various upstand and splashback options, make its offering the most flexible and comprehensive solid surface offering in the marketplace.

The addition of four new decors – Iceberg and galaxy, mocca and latte - takes the collection to ten, each commercially viable and integrated into the range following research to confirm its popularity and suitability for the latest kitchen designs and styles. In another initiative, a new option is now available to extend maia’s range of sink modules. The 1.8 metre modules are factory fabricated for the undermount stainless steel sinks and incorporate drainer grooves and all fixings for simple installation. The new module is designed for use with the Franke ARX160 and is available in left or right hand configuration. Any of the sink modules can then be seamlessly joined to adjacent worktops in the same way as other maia worktop joints.

maia is an award winning (FIRA GOLD ) surface that boasts many owner-friendly features being totally non-porous and heat resistant up to 180̊C. In the event of any scratches or surface marks, the maia care kit will address most problems. It’s also favoured by kitchen installers as it’s easy to fit, coming in modular units of 1.8 and 3.6 metre lengths and 3 widths.
