New sales manager for ATAG

ATAG, the Dutch company famous for its technologically advanced built-in kitchen appliances exclusively available to the kitchen specialist, is pleased to welcome Gary Davey as its new UK Sales Manager.

Gary has over 20 years experience in the consumer electronics industry, having previously worked for Whirlpool UK Ltd covering the Maytag, KitchenAid and Amana brands. He also worked as Area Sales Manager for Panasonic UK.

In his new role as ATAG’s UK Sales Manager, Gary is responsible for driving the sales of ATAG products throughout the UK. ATAG’s specific distribution policy specialises in the Kitchen Studio market.

Gary says: “Working for ATAG is a fantastic opportunity, and I am looking forward to strengthening ATAG’s reputation as a manufacturer of superior quality built-in products in the tough UK market. The market is ripe for design-led appliances and perfect for the innovative ATAG brand.

“We have some very positive and interesting initiatives for the kitchen specialist and we are looking forward to delivering ‘the difference’ denoted by ATAG’s distinct personality, its pure, original Dutch design and contemporary, aspirational style.

“The skills I have developed through my previous experience in the appliance industry will be of real benefit when maintaining and developing positive business relationships with our customers for the long term benefit of the brand.”

Bill Miller, ATAG’s Sales and Marketing Director, says: “It’s great to have Gary on the ATAG team and he brings hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge which will be a real asset.

“Gary’s appointment shows we are totally committed to building the UK market through the kitchen specialist with high levels of support, a rigid internet policy and service that mirrors the powerful status and reputation the brand enjoys in Holland.”
