Deva supports World Environment Day

Deva – a pioneer of water saving technology and a leading manufacturer of brassware and showers – is pledging support for World Environment Day on 5 June by donating a number of its multi award winning Satinjet™ water saving showerheads to a Waterwise competition, which is inviting members of the general public to suggest water saving policies they believe political leaders should adopt.

Holder of two Waterwise Marques for impressive design and water saving credentials, the Satinjet™ range represents a highly appropriate prize for competition winners and will ensure that they – and the environment – receive long-term benefits.

Using revolutionary Twin-Jet™ Technology, the Satinjet™ showerheads dramatically reduce water and energy consumption by as much as 40 per cent with every shower taken, whilst still delivering an unbeatable drenching.

The Twin-Jet™ Technology works by angling jets of water to collide and disperse into 3,000 tiny drops of water per second, thereby eliminating the ‘cold spot’ and needle-like water delivery often experienced with conventional showers which use in excess of 20 litres of water a minute compared with the nine litres per minute required by Satinjet™.
