The island kitchen from Intuo by Ewe

Intuo by ewe,the award-winning Austrian brand has introduced the Island Kitchen as part of its UK collection. This design is both contemporary and offers ultimate functionality by featuring two islands which separate the kitchen into clearly defined zones, one for the cooking area and one for the food preparation and wet area.

Tall cupboards and pull out storage units comprise the length of the wall space behind the island units. Carcasses are made from melamine and feature grain matched walnut doors and units that extend from floor to ceiling for styling purposes. With a stylish louvered plinth beneath each unit, both cooling and dishwashing appliances can be integrated within as it also provides ventilation. Further cooking appliances are integrated either side of a shelving unit that features a remote controlled shutter. Square stainless steel handles are featured on tall cupboards, undercounter and island units.

The two islands feature 22mm stainless steel worktops and side panels with matte lacquered cupboard fronts in anthracite. Further pull out drawers incorporate Blum dynamic storage systems as standard. The left hand island includes a raised stainless steel sink and minimalist drainer. Situated above is a hardened glass shelf with stainless steel supports that also incorporates a stainless steel lighting unit. The right hand unit is designed to feature a streamlined induction hob, or similar, with functional extraction overhead.
